Microwave Oven Use
Our dinnerware products are manufactured to be used as
"serving" pieces and not cookware. Placing our product in Microwave oven is not recommended.
Even if no damage may occur to the ceramic piece itself, the warning is more directed to the overheating of the item, which is caused by the clay's natural minerals content and the air inside the earthenware that heats up in the microwave ovens.
- PLEASE NOTE: At the present time the ONLY dinnerware collection microwave safe is the Castello Collection being manufactured with "White Clay" which mineral content differs from the common "red" earthenware.
