This scarf is inspired by painter Simone Martini's worldwide famous fresco in Siena's Town Hall. It combines rich and refined details with an abstract representation of reality.

The knight and his horse were both covered by a thin sheet of silver coating in an effort to make them stand out resulting in a fantastically realistic appearance. The magic of the sky, combined with the clay hills, typical of the Siena coutryside, along with the silent presence of a motionless army camp produce a surreal, mysterious landcape.
